Hey Jarod,
Never assume bud.
It was a shoulda, coulda, woulda morning.
I am trying to get good video - so I delayed my shot in hopes he would come into the decoys where I had my stationary camera on.  He was shootable at 30yds and only had 10ys to go for the perfect set up and he got spooked by a beaver slap and took off.
I'll be back at him here in a couple hours.

Does the offer still stand?  I am going again tonight and will call you if I don't stick one.

Hey Kevin,
Not as good as yours!  I missed one on Saturday about 10:00 - came in silent and (here come the excuses) by the time I got the camera on him, pulled back and shot - I forgot to keep my head down and wait till I released to look at the arrow/hit/miss.  I missed 23yd pop shot.  Had fun pulling ticks though.  Counted (yes I counted) 104 on Saturday.
There were tons of birds, but they were all hened up.  I think once those hens start to nest (shouldn't be far out) things will get better.
Congrats on your hunt.

PS - check your calander for June and let me know what works for everyone to go do the Asian Invasion Shoot.  I am open.

No luck for me in my first season.  Weather was terrible, but what do you do?  I put forth a decent effort, but I think the thought of bowfishing was stronger than my will to turkey hunt!

Today was a good day!  We worked hard for this bird - have to give credit to my Fiance - she held that gun steady for what seemed a long 10mins before this guy gave her the shot - She put the smack down on him @ 52yds.

No, no camera - I just wanted to focus on getting her a bird this year without any distractions.  I am pretty happy we ended it today - 3:45am comes way too early.
